Headquartered in Centralia, Washington, Pace Edwards is a leading manufacturer and marketer of retractable tonneau covers, and also produces a variety of truck bed racks, storage systems, and other accessories. The company was founded in 1986, originally as a manufacturer of sailboat accessories. Soon afterwards, the company began manufacturing hard retractable tonneau covers for pickup trucks, and by 1989 the company's Roll-Top-Cover® Manual Tonneau had elevated Pace Edwards to the North American market leader in the hard retractable tonneau cover industry.

Today, the company manufactures several of the highest quality tonneau covers available on the market including: the BedLocker® Electric Tonneau, the JackRabbit™ Spring-Activated Retractable Tonneau, the Full-Metal JackRabbit™ Retractable Tonneau and the original Roll-Top-Cover® Manual Tonneau. The company serves customers both in the United States and Canada through warehouse distributors, a proprietary network of approximately 2,000 active dealers and jobbers, and also on a limited basis directly to the do-it-yourselfers.
