MIC Group is a well respected supplier of high alloy machining solutions, providing a wide variety of manufacturing services. With experienced personnel and advanced vertically integrated manufacturing services, MIC Group supports customers from new product development to final production through concurrent engineering services, quick turnaround prototypes, production runs, and continuing cost improvements. Vertically integrated manufacturing services include investment casting, precision machining, electron beam welding, gundrilling, and mechanical and electronic assembly.

MIC was founded in 1963 in Houston, Texas as Magnetic Instrument Corporation, initially producing small electromechanical assemblies. The company was moved to Brenham, Texas in 1977 and purchased by J.B. Poindexter Company, Inc. in 1992. MIC has grown rapidly and now has revenues in excess of $140million. As part of this growth, MIC has six manufacturing locations with four in the US and one each in Monterrey, Mexico and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MIC has continued to develop a strong and broad base of customers. These customers include the leading companies in industries such as oil and gas services, aerospace, petrochemical products, power generation, medical equipment, and ordnance.
