EFP is a qualified Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Delphi, Magna, and others. Other customers include Dell, Compaq, Toshiba, General Electric, Kohler, Haworth, and Steelcase, among many. The company offers its customers electronic data interface capability.

The company headquarters are in Elkhart, IN. EFP has three manufacturing plants, including two of North America's largest foam manufacturing facilities, located in Elkhart and in Decatur, AL. An additional plant is strategically located in Nashville, TN.

EFP has been a leader in developing EPS recycling programs and has provided leadership in forming the Alliance of Foam Packaging Producers to develop and promote the recycling of foam products.
