Prior to the purchase of Babcock Motor Bodies in 1985, Commercial Truck Bodies had long been known in the food industry for building quality truck bodies for various manufacturers, suppliers and transporters including dairies, meat packers, food processors and major refrigerated fleets. The acquisition of Babcock introduced the company to new markets and has led to substantial growth in the truck body industry.

Today, Commercial Babcock is one of the largest and most versatile truck body manufacturers in Canada. Through recent major investments in plant and equipment, Commercial Babcock has been able to expand the product offerings of their dry-freight and specialty body businesses.
