J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. recognizes and accepts its management responsibility for compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations. As such, company policies exist to ensure the protection of the environment, the safeguarding of employee health and safety, and the protection of company assets. The Environmental, Health and Safety function exists to support the operations' regulatory compliance activities. We continually assess the processes in the plants, actions of our employees, and impact on the environment to ensure regulatory compliance and to reduce the potential for adverse environmental consequences.

Our Vice-President of Risk Management and his internal counterparts and consultants assist the operations' managements by providing direction for compliance with laws and regulations, creating corporate risk management policies and procedures, evaluating the level of the organizations' compliance and providing performance measurements and informational briefings to executive management. We also perform or coordinate employee exposure evaluations, regulatory compliance reviews and EHS training at all facilities in the company.
